Team Leader Supply (f/m)
What's the role?
As leader for our Supply Management team you will have the opportunity to bring innovation to the global supply of our product and lead an international team of Supply Managers who are responsible for our installation system and façade products.
Within Hilti you are accountable for the global purchase volume of the product categories pipe clamps and façade as well as sourcing of new products. Your impact is directly visible in the financial performance of the business and the successful introduction of new products. You are working directly with our Business Unit Installation Systems in Schaan/ Liechtenstein and with Hilti colleagues all over the world.

What does the role involve?
In your role you develop and drive strategic initiatives in our global supply network with suppliers especially in Europe, Asia and America and further develop our global supplier base. Deliver on challenging availability and financial targets by identifying and realization of cost reduction potentials together with our international supply teams around the world. Accompany supply related questions during product development including make-or-buy decisions and selecting the best suppliers for new products.

Our site Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems for Pipe rings and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. What you need is:
- Graduation in engineering or business administration plus deep going technical expertise
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a purchasing department of a global company
- Experience with manufacturing of steel and Aluminium based products
- Strong management of stakeholders and target orientation in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (recommended)
- Highly committed personality and excellent analytical skills
- Strong in execution as well as outstanding capability in negotiations
- Willingness to travel globally up to 30%
This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group V. We are willing to negotiate and offer an attractive performance-oriented remuneration package highly above the minimum salary based on your excellent skills and know-how.
