Strategic Supply Manager (f/m/d)

For our Ventilated Façade Supply Team, we are currently on the look out for a new talent who wants to take the next step in her / his career path. As Strategic Supply Manager (f/m/d) you will set-up, steer and improve the supply chain of new and existing products of our light ventilated façade portfolio according to global Hilti AG standards.

Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is part of the Hilti Group and belongs to the Installation business unit in Schaan, Liechtenstein. What does the role involve?
As Strategic Supply Manager you will define, implement and steer the global supplier strategy under the functional leadership of Hilti.
In this role you will be as well the operational and tactical lead buyer for ventilated facades components on our European markets and align purchasing strategies with key stakeholders (Business Unit, cross-function, regional organization, plant etc.). Further, you will be responsible for defining the supply set-up within the project scope of new products. Additionally, you will manage supplier management tasks e.g. negotiating terms and conditions with national and international suppliers and settle contracts. Specific responsibilities include also supply market research, supplier selection, contribution to supply operational excellence and escalation management with regard to our suppliers.

What you need is:
- Master’s Degree (University/FH) in engineering or business administration, ideally combined with min. 3 - 5 years working experience in a purchasing department of a global company
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured manner of thinking
- Highly committed and strong motivated personality with the attitude and drive to inspire others
- Outstanding negotiation & presentation skills on all levels
- Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory, German is a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group IV which states a minimum salary of € 2.682,80 per month – gross and a minimum annual gross salary of € 64.000,- (in Austria it is legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary). Based on your individual professional skills and know-how and previous experience, we are willing to negotiate and offer an attractive performance-oriented remuneration package highly above the minimum salary.
