R&D Support Student (f/m/d)
What's the role?
We are looking for a highly motivated student (f/m/d) to join our testing & development team in Lanzenkirchen near Vienna for 20 to 25 hours per week. In this role you will support our development & test engineers in ongoing projects, with main focus on our advanced product development.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability (ideally from Mar/Apr 2021).

What does the role involve?
In this role, you will support our development & testing engineers by executing and documenting of initial sample inspection reports (ISIR). In addition, you will be also responsible for the performance of handling and load tests for product releases. This also includes participation in product design and new product implementation projects.

What you need is:
- You are a Master student in mechanical engineering, materials science, mechatronics or any similar fields
- You have a solid knowledge in the field of (tensile / non-destructive) testing and qualification of products as well as a solid understanding for metal and plastic processing
- You have ideally CAD knowledge and solid MS Office skills
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a highly goal-oriented approach as well as a open personality with a strong hands-on and self-driven mentality
- You have a distinct ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, other languages are a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group III which states a minimum salary of € 2.138,66 per month – gross (full-time). The monthly salary for part-time employees depends on the weekly working hours.
