Head of Production (m/f/d)
What's the role?
We are looking for a Head of Production (m/f/d) to lead the production team in Lanzenkirchen, near Vienna. As Head of Production you will lead and support cross-functional strategic tasks for the ventilated façade business according to the company strategy and targets. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and structures through continuous improvement.
In this role you will be a part of the executive management team of our site in Lanzenkirchen, directly reporting to the General Manager of Eurofox GmbH – A Group Company of Hilti.

Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems for Pipe rings and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market.
What does the role involve?
Supplying the markets/customers with the specific products produced by the unit, taking into consideration qualitative, scheduling and economic aspects Increasing the sustainable competitive ability of the unit (quality, product availability, costs) Ongoing development of staff in line with the dimensions of the Red Thread for the unit, plant and Hilti Group Supporting the business units in the TTM process and in introducing new products

What you need is:
- Master’s degree in engineering (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering) and a broad experience in a production department of a global company
- Several years of relevant working experience in a management function combined with excellent managerial and strategic skills
- In-depth knowledge of tools and practices of continuous improvement, problem solving, process and service design as well as quality management
- Advanced project management skills, especially in specified production areas
- Excellent creativity, planning and coordination skills
- Proven record in leading and coaching team members incl. developing and managing direct reports in a matrix environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German are essential
This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group V, which states a minimum salary of € 3.255,64 per month – gross (in Austria it is legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary). Based on your individual professional skills and know-how and previous experience, we are willing to negotiate and offer an attractive performance-oriented remuneration package highly above the minimum salary.
